Zebra Biscuties
Why do zebra biscuits have stripes? Because they don't want to be spotted. These biscuits may look fancy but they are very easy to make as long as you follow the step to chill the dough! These go perfectly with a cup of coffee.

60g cocoa powder
200g caster sugar
60ml vegetable oil
2 large eggs
180g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
Icing sugar
1. Mix cocoa powder, caster sugar and oil in a bowl.
2. Using a whisk (electric or hand), whisk the eggs in until the mixture is one colour and texture. This shouldn’t take long.
3. In a separate bowl, stir the flour, salt and baking powder together.
4. Add this flour mixture to the other bowl containing the chocolate mix.
5. Once the mixture feels like a dough, pop it in the fridge for minimum 1 hour.
6. Take out the fridge.
7. Scoop a heaped tablespoon of the mixture out the bowl and roll it until you have created a ball.
8. Repeat this until you have created many balls and there is no mixture left.
9. Pop the icing sugar into a bowl.
10. Roll each ball until fully covered in icing sugar (very important to do this to get the lovely zebra stripes).
11. Place each ball on the baking tray with space between them
12. Bake for 10 mins at 170c degrees fan.
